Privacy Policy

Aloha Media Websites ("we," "our," or "us") is a web design studio at 839 E Winding Creek Dr, Suite 202, Eagle, Idaho 83616. We are the ones who decide what happens to information collected through this site. This policy covers alohamediawebsites.com and the free tools on it. It does not cover our sister studio at alohamediastudio.com, which has its own policy.

There are exactly three ways information reaches us from this site.

1. The contact form

When you fill out the form we store your name, email address, business name, your current website address if you gave one, and anything you wrote in the message box. We also store the internet address (IP) your submission came from and a note of any spam signals our checks flagged. The record is saved in our own database and emailed to us so we can reply.

2. The free Website Checkup

Every time someone runs the checkup we log the web address that was checked, the score and grade we worked out, the platform we detected, the individual check results, and the IP the request came from. This happens whether or not you give us an email, because it is how we watch for abuse and see whether the tool is working properly. If you then ask to unlock the full report, or ask us to build you a free website from the result, we also store the email address you typed.

Please only check a website you own or have permission to check. The tool reads the public version of a page, the same way a search engine does. It does not log in to anything, does not change anything, and cannot see anything a visitor could not already see.

3. Plain visits

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and cannot follow you to other websites. We see totals like "40 people looked at the pricing page this week," never who you are.

• Reply to you and talk about a possible website project
• Build and deliver the work if you decide to go ahead
• Show you the results of a checkup you asked for
• Block spam and abuse (this is the only reason we keep IP addresses)
• See which pages and tools are worth keeping

That is the whole list. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not run advertising. We do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for, and we do not feed anything you give us into AI training.

Only the two companies below, and only because the site cannot run without them. Neither is allowed to use your information for their own purposes.

The only other time we would hand anything over is if the law required it, or to protect someone's safety. If we ever sold the business, records would transfer with it, and we would say so here first.

We set no advertising or tracking cookies. None. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to tell real visitors apart from bots, which is what keeps this site online. Turnstile, the box that checks you are human before the form sends, is built as a privacy-first alternative to CAPTCHA and does not track you across websites.

Two small things are saved in your browser's session storage, which your browser wipes when you close the tab. Nothing in either one reaches us:

• A note that you dismissed the little turtle, so he does not pop up twice in one visit
• Your last checkup result, so the cost and lost-leads calculators can fill themselves in for you

The calculators themselves run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into them are never sent to us.

We keep contact-form submissions and checkup emails for as long as we might still be doing business with you, and we go through those records at least once a year and delete whatever we no longer have a reason to hold. Checkup logs are a technical record and get cleared out on the same yearly pass.

You do not have to wait for that. Ask us to delete your information and we will do it within 30 days and email you to confirm.

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you exactly what we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete all of it
• Stop emailing you

We honor these requests from anyone who asks, wherever you live, and we do not charge for it or make you create an account first. If you are in California, that includes your rights under the CCPA, and our answer to "do you sell or share my personal information" is no, we never have. If you are in the EU or UK, we handle requests the way the GDPR describes.

Email connect@alohamediastudio.com and put "privacy request" in the subject. One of us reads it, not a bot.

The whole site runs over HTTPS. Form submissions pass a spam check and a limit on how often one address can submit before anything is stored. Our database sits inside Cloudflare's network and is not reachable from the open internet. The keys that let the site send email are stored as encrypted secrets, never in the website code.

No system is perfect and we will not pretend otherwise. If information you gave us were ever exposed, we would tell you directly and quickly rather than hope you did not notice.

This is a service for business owners. It is not aimed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think we have, tell us and we will delete it right away.

If we change what we collect or who can see it, we update this page and change the date at the top. We do not make changes quietly.
